Why the calendar can feel unusual

The developer explains that the clock waits at important events until you attend them, and freezes again in the evening. A launch review corroborates the event pause. You can therefore see a scheduled activity waiting while you finish something elsewhere.

Read the calendar as a set of things to attend, and watch whether time is currently advancing. A displayed meeting time is not, by itself, evidence that arriving later has failed the quest. The official explanation is specifically designed to remove that pressure.

Demo 0.464 introduced pauses in the player menu and shops. The same notes explicitly distinguish flute mode, which keeps time moving, and point players toward classroom practice rooms.

That distinction matters if you spend a long time practicing in the world: opening your flute is not equivalent to opening a paused menu. These are dated demo rules, so check your current build's clock if an interface behaves differently.

Plan around the resource you can see

Mana is identified by the developer as a limit on how much you can do in a day. Our practical suggestion is to choose a small garden objective, check the resource display before beginning it, and stop repeating an action if the game says you cannot perform it.

Do not estimate costs from this page. We have not verified a launch cost table or all recovery methods. Keep a note of the exact action and message when something fails; an empty resource bar and an unselected tool are different problems.

Can unfinished quests continue after the year?

In the developer's earlier discussion, the world remains available after the year's narrative progression, in an ongoing spring state, allowing remaining quests to be finished. This is an attributed design statement, not a tested promise that every seasonal vendor or limited event returns.

For a seasonal purchase, read its own conditions before assuming it will be offered again. The clock's forgiving schedule should not be stretched into a claim that every opportunity repeats indefinitely.
