The official game overview says you make friends with classmates and townsfolk. The current achievement list also includes several objectives tied to helping named characters. That supports a game with character stories and personal requests.
Our practical suggestion is to follow the dialogue and journal steps for the character whose story interests you. Record the next requested action before switching to another task. This is a way to keep narrative progress organized, not a verified formula for relationship points.
What the developer said about romance
In February 2023, Eastshade Studios answered that romance was not planned at that time. In a later reply, the studio emphasized character quest arcs and narrative development, while discussing a more RPG-like approach to friendships.
Those replies are valuable design context, but their date matters. This page does not turn them into an independently tested claim about every interaction in the launch build. No marriage route, dating roster or family mechanic is invented from the question alone.
Do you need daily gifts?
The sources used here do not establish a universal friendship bar, daily gift schedule or favorite-item table. Avoid importing those expectations from another farming game.
Instead, read the request in front of you. If a character asks for an item, keep the amount specified by that objective before selling your extras. If the request points to a meeting, use the calendar and the event-clock explanation to understand how attendance works.
A useful character-story tracker
Keep a short note with the character's name, current journal objective, required item if any, and next place to check. Once the objective changes, update the note rather than continuing to gather the previous item.
